The first green
The plants that have overwintered wake up, the almond trees cover the fields in white and pink, and every few days the colours change.

Harvest time
The region has always grown cereals. The solstice marked the high point of the harvest; today the combine does in an afternoon what once took weeks.
Autumn
Always the same, always different
Maize, grapes and quinces are gathered, the mushrooms arrive, and the trees offer a brushstroke of yellows, oranges and ochres.
Winter
The land asleep
Deciduous trees stand bare, evergreens protect themselves from the cold with their leaves, and the snow feeds the aquifers.
